Neta_Barlam

Neta Barlam

Neta is an MSc student in the Department of Genetics, in the lab of Prof. Alon Zaslaver. Her work focuses on CRISPR activation (CRISPRa) in C. elegans to create a genetic model of Down Syndrome and better understand the molecular mechanisms behind this condition.

shahar edelman pic

Shahar Edelman

Shahar Edelman is at the direct route MSc student in Brain and Cognitive Science at Computational Neuropsychiatry Lab, researching ways for early identification and explanation of inter-individual differences in Alzheimer's disease, using machine learning and neuroimaging techniques.

Aluma Haiman

Aluma Haiman's M.Sc. studies focus on the non-traditional function of Hb in the hindbrain under the supervision of Prof. Dalit Sela-Donenfeld at the School of Veterinary Sciences, and the lab of Prof. Efrat Monsonego-Ornan at the Institute of Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition. Her research aims to determine the spatiotemporal expression of Hb in the developing hindbrain to identify which specific cell expresses it and knock down the Hb genes to determine the effect on the relevant cell types.

Zvi_Kuhr

Zvi Kuhr

Zvi is a direct M.Sc. student in the Department of Neurobiology, in the lab of Dr. Ariel Gilad. He researches brain-wide neuronal networks underlying novelty recognition and how these networks undergo dysfunction throughout the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
